Emma Vonder Haar is a St. Louis-based live calligrapher and engraving artist who loves to create magical moments for guests at events through calligraphy. Emma holds a BFA in Visual Communication and 10+ years in corporate, nonprofit, and experiential marketing. She brings a data-driven, ROI focused approach to live events while providing a seamless guest experience through activations. She loves working with retail clients to drive sales with brand activations, collaborating with luxury event planners to create an entertainment focused personalized favor station, and dreaming up the perfect personalized item for corporate gifting that breaks the mold. She’s worked with brands like Famous Footwear (personalizing shoes), Veuve Clicquot (writing Mother’s Day cards), Macy’s (engraving fragrance bottles), and lululemon (personalizing shopping bags).

In addition to live calligraphy and engraving, Emma has been teaching beginner calligraphy workshops in the St. Louis area since 2017. She regularly hosts workshops around the area and loves getting to share the joy of calligraphy with beginners!

As a calligrapher, her favorite letter is G. She’s a member of the St. Louis Calligraphy Guild.
